502 _bThesis (Bachelor of Science in Mathematics) -- University of Rizal System-Morong.
520 _aEXECUTIVE SUMMARY The study aimed to estimate the number of typhoon, maximum rainfall and maximum wind entering the Philippine area of Responsibility. This was conducted at the University of Rizal System during Academic Year 2014-2015. The researchers used a mathematical model using the principle of Malthusian Model and Chi square. To balance of the research, the researchers discussed with their adviser about the models. The actual data was substituted with the derived model and was found out that a proposed mathematical model can estimate the number of typhoons entering PAR. This was made possible with the used of Malthusian and logistic model. Based on the findings, the study concluded that both Malthusian Model and Chi square are fairly accurate in estimating the number of typhoons entering the Philippine area of responsibility. By virtue of the proceeding summary of findings and conclusions, further study can be conducted using Malthusian Model in other situations. Parallel studies can be conducted using other models. Error analysis can be conducted in the analysis of data obtained using Malthusian Model.
