Dissertation note: Undergraduate Thesis Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Human Resources Development Management University of Rizal System, Rodriguez, Rizal 2019 Summary: This study aimed to know the common recruitment methods employed at industries and it was conducted to know the most common recruitment methods used by industries. The descriptive quantitative method of research was employed. The respondents of the study were 30 human source managers of different companies and it were conducted during the second semester of 2017-2018. For the statistical treatment of data, frequency, percentage and rank distribution was used to determine the profile of the respondents. Mean was used to know the factors to be considered in employing the recruitment method in terms of cost efficiency, sustainability and reliability. Computed f-value was utilized to know the significant difference on the factors to be considered in employing the recruitment method when the respondents were grouped according to their profile. The findings of the study showed that the profile of the respondents in terms of years of operation was 16 and above years, and in terms of number of employees, the respondents had 1-1000 employees. The common recruitment method employed in the company was external recruitment and it turns out that most specific type of recruitment used was employment agency. The reasons for employing external recruitment method in terms of cost-efficiency was it allows the company to save money and in terms of sustainability, it has a good organizational capacity and in terms of reliability was it has a successful hiring process.
