The researchers used qualitative and quantitative research methods. This study utilized the correlational method. The sources of data were the validated checklist questionnaire for the students and an interview with science teachers. A sample random technique was used to get the 100 student respondents and three Grade 9 science teachers. The researchers used frequency and percentage distributions, a weighted mean, and a computed chi-square.
