This study aimed to evaluate the performance of female student of Technology and Livelihood Education in mechanical and welding subject. Based on the findings and results obtained the researchers came up with the following conclusions:
With regards to the profile of the respondents, it is concluded that in terms of age majority of the respondents were below 23 years old; in terms of family income majority were receiving Php. 10, 000.00.
In terms of interest in mechanical and welding subject, the female Technology and Livelihood Education students can manage themselves but considering their skills limited and still need to practice to match the male student.
Based on the findings and conclusion drawn, the following recommendations are hereby given for the purpose of developing a better judgment or discussion in the interest, knowledge and comprehension, attitudes, skills, awareness, and motivation. The faculty teaching mechanical and welding subjects as well as the students must be highly motivated in terms of setting interest in taking the subject as a part of performing task in the mechanical and welding subjects. The area must provide effective teaching strategies through the enrichment of one's knowledge and comprehension. Opportunities for female students like attendance in seminar and workshops are related to mechanical and welding subject must be opened. The female students must participate regularly in all mechanical and welding activities to enhance their skills. The female students should be encouraged to take the National Certificate of Competency to prove their skills in mechanical and welding subjects.
