Summary, etc. This study aimed to determine the effect of citrus aurantifolia (dayap) leaves on Staphylococcus aureus. The study focused on utilizing the potential and the uses of natural resources in the environment. The study examined the effect of dayap crude extract on S. aureus using experimental research mathod design. The extraction of dayap leaves and laboratory testing was conducted at DOST-STD, ITDI department. The extraction process lasted for five (5) days while two (2) days for laboratory testing. The test method used was disc diffusion method. Limonene is a secondary metabolites present in dayap plants that has antibacterial effect on S. aureus. The study used five treatments and three replication. Positive control with clindamycin 2 ug (microgram) has the highest effect against staphylococcus aureus, followed by treatment III with 75% treatment II with 50% treatment I with 25% and negative control with normal saline solution. To determine significant difference of the effect of dayap crude extract on S. aureus, F-test was used. The researchers conclude that the dayap crude extract has the potential to eliminate S. aureus due to the active components, limonene that was were present on the said plants.
