520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. The study was conducted to the 4th year students of College of Science and Education from the University of Rizal System school year 2018-2019. It was focused on the Influence of the Family on the Development of Social Behavior among Young Adult Students. The researchers made use of descriptive survey method of research and questionnaire-checklist as tools in gathering data. Random sampling was used to identify the number of respondents. A total of 120 students from College of Science and Education from University of Rizal System, Tanay Main Campus were chosen to be the respondents of the study. Frequency, percentage distribution, and rank were the statistical tools used in the study. The salient findings of the study were as follows: Respondents are dominated in frequency by the 18-19 years old, they are mostly female; many are from BSE course with the frequency of 46, majority are Roman Catholic, first born, have 5, 000 below monthly income, and their parents belong to High School Graduate. Based on the findings the researchers came up with the following conclusion that: the Influence of the Family on the Development of Social Behavior was Much Influential among young adult students, and the results show that there is no significant difference on the variables of emotional management and involvement in school/class tasks in terms of sex, except for the sex profile which shows that male and female respondents differ significantly on the influence of their family in managing their emotions and involvement in school/class tasks. Most of personal characteristics have no bearing on the respondents' view of the influence of family on the development of their social behavior but sex has influence on their emotional management and involvement in school/class task. Based on the findings and conclusions, the researchers recommended that the families are encouraged to attend seminars on how to strengthen and boost parent-child relationship and that the family attends more seminars having an activity like teambuilding on how to improve their family's use of language, emotional management, involvement in school/class task and interpersonal communications. The University may conduct Family Programs such as: workshops for Parenting Adults. The College of Science and Education may conduct an event like a -Day for Young Adults‖ which provide or featuring an interactive workshops specifically for teens and young adults, where it helps them practice their new skills and interact peers while learning transition skills, sparking passions, and cultivating new relationship in a fun, social environment. Conduct further study on how well parents can approach and provide unique strategy for both male or female emotional management and involvement in other activities. For the school to come up programs especially in high school and elementary that will strengthen their communication with the family of their students in order to provide proper guidance.
