The aspects were behavioral, cognitive, emotional, environmental, physical, social and spiritual/moral. The researchers utilized a researcher-made questionnaire checklist in gathering the needed data to determine the extent f stress as perceived by the respondents who are chosen through the purposive sampling technique. The data were gathered tabulated and interpreted the profile of the respondents in terms of age, gender, civil status, educational attainment, number of years in service, monthly family income, and position/designation frequency, percentage and rank distribution were applied. To determine the extent of gender and stress as perceived by the male, female, gay and lesbian respondents with respect to behavioral, cognitive, emotional environmental, physical, social and spiritual/moral aspects, weighted mean was utilized and to determine the significant difference that exists on the extent of gender and stress in the workplace as perceived by the respondents in terms of their profile, One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was applied. Findings on the profile revealed that most of the respondents were of ages 25 and below, single with monthly family income of Php 9,999-5,000, attained college level, have a present job as clerical staff, are 2-4 years and 10 years and above in service. Lesbians obtained the highest weighted mean in the extent of gender and stress in the workplace with respect to spiritual/moral aspects. There is a significant difference that exists in the extent gender and stress in the workplace as perceived by the respondents with respect to behavioral aspects in terms of position designation. However, there is no significant difference that exists with respect to emotional aspect in terms of position/designation and years in service. Lastly, there is significant difference that exists with respect to environmental aspects in terms of age. Based on the findings presented, it was recommended that agencies, institutions and businesses should enrich the potentials of the workers by increasing competencies, share stress reduction techniques with workers to minimize the problems encountered particularly in the spiritual/moral aspects for gays and lesbians, social for males, physical for females, and conduct parallel study using the other variables.
