| Summary, etc | EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to analyze the Social Behavior of Children in FABKI. In Baras, Rizal during this year 2014-2015, a total of forty children were used as respondents, who were described in terms of age, parental status, religion, and number of siblings in the family. The descriptive method of research was sued to determine the social behavior of the children among the respondents. The information was gathered using questionnaire checklist, which was made by the researchers to know the profile of the respondents and their social behavior and school performance. To determine the profile of the respondents in terms of age, parental status, religion and number of siblings in the family, frequency and percentage distribution were used, to find out the extent of the social behavior and school performance of the respondents, computed mean was used, to determine the significant difference on the social behavior and school performance of the selected children two way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used. Based on the gathered data, the study revealed the majority of the respondents were 5-20 years of age, most of them were Roman Catholic and parents that were not living together. On the extent of social behavior and school performance of the respondents. Family relationship obtained an average weighted mean of 3.9 and verbally interpreted as often. Peer relationship got an average weighted mean of 4.32 and verbally interpreted as always. Community relationship obtained an average of 3.80 and verbally interpreted as often. On the significant difference of the extent of social behavior and school performance of the children in FABKI in Baras, Rizal and the profile of the respondents, age of the respondents on the social behavior as 0.57 which is not exceed the tabular F-value of 2.35 with 6/45 degrees of freedom at 5% level of significance. Hence, the null hypothesis, that there is no significant difference of the social behavior and school performance of the children in terms of religion is accepted, in terms of number of siblings in the family, the computed F-value 1.08 which did not exceed the tabular F-value of 2.10 with 8/60 degrees of freedom at 5% level of significance. Hence, the null hypothesis that there is no significant difference of the social behavior of children in terms of number of siblings in this accepted. For the findings and conclusion drawn, the following were hereby recommended in the extension activity of the college must be sustained and be continued to determine the development of the children for the activities related to counseling may be conducted to the children in the parallel study using other variables may be conducted. |
