Summary, etc EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of electronic periodic table (EPT) regarding the selected topics which are sub-atomic paticles, symbol of Elements and Ionization Energy. This was conducted at Rizal National Science High School during the school year 2014-2015. The study revealed that the developed Electronic Periodic Table is effective, as it was utilized and exposed to the students of Rizal National Science High School, with respect to the three different topics in Chemistry such as symbol, sub-atomic particles and ionazation energy. It was proved that the material used is effective as an instructional aid in teaching: it shows that the developed EPT help the students to understand the topics given and it can help them to maximize their learning. The main goal of this study is to heighten the retention of the students about the concepts and ideas about a particular lesson in Chemistry subject and so, understanding of the students can improve and that they can learn easily with regards to some topic in Chemistry, as well as in the area of Periodic Table of Elements. The data were analyzed and undergone statistical treatment which resulted to rejection of the hypothesis. The researchers concluded that there is no significant difference in the pre-test and post-test of control group with respect to the topics symbol and sub-atomic particles and has a significant difference in the pre-test and post-test in the topic ionazation energy. while, there is significant difference in the pre-test and post-test of experimental group with respect to the topics symbol, sub-atomic particles and ionization energy. And at the same time, there is a significant difference on the level of performance of the control group and experimental group as revealed by the difference in their pre-test and post-test results with respect to the different lessons. Based on the findings of this study, it was concluded that the use of electronic periodic table in teaching periodic table of elements and related topics on Chemistry helped increase the performance of the students.
