Summary, etc EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to contribute in science and technology particularly in the field of industrial technology. This is entitled Portable Solar AC Supply as an alternative Source of Energy, and because it has a solar panel this can further save energy. This study made use of the developmental research method. The developmental research is a research method based on the systematic development of an existing project. There are two groups of respondents who have evaluated the project. These are the technology experts and end-users. Based on the intensified treatment of data gathered, it was found out that the Portable Solar AC Supply as Source of Electricity is constructed and developed out of locally available materials. The respondents revealed that the device is extremely accepted in terms of design, usability, functionality and safety and maintenance. As to the significant difference between the evaluations made by the Electrical Technology Experts and Students on the acceptability of Portable Solar AC Supply as Source of Electricity in terms of the aforementioned variables, the findings revealed that there is no significant difference between the evaluation of the Electrical Technology Experts and students in terms of the above mentioned variables. Relative to this, it is concluded that the device produce its desired output in terms of the design and functionality of parts. It is also carried out the expenses performance in terms of its usefulness and safety and maintenance. Based on the result of the study, it is recommended that the device should add an additional battery when the need arises. A set of wheels should be added to further improve its transportation and lastly a volt meter for the AC output should be installed to monitor its output. Other researchers may conduct further study to improve the design for better performance and effectiveness. Further study can be done for the improvement of the study in the near future to improve the function of the device.
