Summary, etc EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to design and construct an "AC Supply Control Circuit" to be used in controlling circuit. Specifically, it aimed to test the AC Supply Control Circuit in terms of functionality of parts, maintenance and safety features of the project; determine the significant difference on the evaluation made by the two groups of respondents on the acceptability of the developed of an AC supply circuit with respect to the mentioned variables. The researchers utilized an evaluation sheet to determine the acceptability of the developed AC supply control circuit. The experts in Electrical Technology of College of Industrial Technology validated the research instrument. The respondents who provided pertinent information crucial to the completion of this study accomplished a validated research instrument. The results were tallied and computed for the analysis. Two (2) groups of respondents tested the project for acceptability. The first group consisted of fifteen (15) BT-Electrical students, and the other groups consisted of five (5) experts, who have knowledge, skills, and thorough understanding on its construction and operation. The statistical treatments used were weighted mean and independent t-test. The weighted mean was used to determine the acceptability of the project while independent t-value was used to test the significant difference on the perception of the experts and the end users on the acceptability of development of an AC supply Control Circuit. In general the acceptability of the project as evaluated by the experts and the end-users obtained a verbal interpretation of extremely accepted with a general average weighted mean of 4.7. The developed AC Supply Control Circuit was designed and constructed out of locally available materials. The project was Extremely Accepted as evaluated by the respondents. The computer T- Value in terms of design, functionality, usefulness and safety and maintenance showed that there is no significant difference on the evaluation made by the experts and end- users. The following conclusion was recapitulated from the summary of findings. The hypothesis which states that there is no significant difference between the evaluation made by the expert and end users on acceptability on the Developed AC Supply Control Circuit in terms of design, functionality, usefulness and maintenance, was sustained. Based on the foregoing findings and conclusion, the researchers recommended that the device should have feedback to ensure that it works. The device should manual control in case the user was at home. Also, the device should have light indicator for safety maintenance. Follow-up study maybe conducted for the improvement of the developed AC Supply Control Circuit. The device must be employed strictly for operating all domestic electrical appliances like, lights, fans, motors, TV sets, refrigerators, Air conditioners, washing machines, porch light, etc. only.
