520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to help the student easily to adapt the actual installation of wire on the Transformer Trainer Board of the College of Engineering and Technology of University of Rizal System Morong Campus, Academic Year 2014-2015. The study used developmental method of research to attain the result of performance in regards of experiment and data from the said experiment. The researcher used evaluation sheet to configure out the acceptance of the transformer trainer board. It consists of four part, first, appearance and construction which include the presentation of Transformer Trainer Board, Lay out of the parts, orientation of wiring lay out of the circuit, installation of the parts (base, binding posts, supporting structures, transformers, breaker, loads, and indicator lights). Second, the usefulness that provide actual practice regarding transformer connections, easy way of connections, give reliable information and proper usage of instrument. Performance and maintenance prove that the fuses and loads are working properly, produce close to its rated voltage, good writing technique and check the board before performing the task. Lastly, Safety is mostly important in performing the experiment that there is no sign of electrical leakage, no burning smell, turn off immediately the circuit breaker in case of overheating and no load parts are rattling around inside. The data gathered from the above statement used user rating which is divided into two (Weighted Mean and Verbal Interpretation). a. In terms of appearance and construction, the project was perceived to be very much accepted by the respondents with an average weighted mean of 4.48. b. In terms of usefulness, the project was perceived to be a very much accepted by the respondents with an average weighted mean 4.41. c. In terms of performance and maintenance, the project was perceived to be very much accepted by the respondents with an average weighted mean 4.82. d. In terms of safety, the project was perceived to be very much by the respondents with an average mean 4.43 Based on the summary of findings, the researchers concluded that the results of evaluation shows that it can help the students in learning how the connection of transformer trainer in banking connection, polarity test, and parallel operation. Similarily, results of the evaluation on the created trainer board shows that it improves the students' scopes after performing the experiment. The knowledge learned from the basic principle of transformer and circuit analysis strongly benefits a student to perform the accurate wiring of the following experiment. The transformer trainer board takes a lot of advantage for the student to learn the actual connection not only to learn the schematic diagram. It verifies that the assessment of the correspondents of the created laboratory experiments is successful.
