520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY : This Study aimed to determine if there is a possibility that an individual could tend to suicide after their break up. This was conducted during school year 2014-2015. The Researcher focused on four (4) respondents 13-19 years old who experienced break up that lead to suicidal attempt. It was supported by Diane Vaughan's Uncoupling Theory which she said that a turning point will exist in the dynamics of relationship breakup. In this theory Diane Vaughan studied the occurrence of an individual who's suffering from breakups. Hence, the theory is related to the study because suicidal tendencies might happen to an adolescent who experienced breakup. Based on the findings the following conclusions are given. Most of the respondents have strong attachment to their past relationship. They possess a strong feeling of negative emotion that leads them in attempting suicide. The respondents age is one of the factors that can affect their understanding about relationship breakup. Their capacity to think and handling the situation is not enough for that kind of situation. Being psychological, mental and emotionally weak can lead to improper decision. Also, adolescent like them who suffered depression, feel that he/she alone and nobody cared about them can cause them to do negatively to themselves.
