Summary, etc. Executive Summary: This study developed computer - aided instructional material in Science for children with intellectual disabilities to determine their level of performance in Science with the aid of the developed material as well as its level of acceptability. This study was conducted at Binangonan Elementary School - Special Education Center, Binangonan, Rizal during the 2nd Semester of 2015. The researchers used a modified questionnaire-checklist which included variables such as objectives, contents, language and style, and graphics and sounds. To determine the level of acceptability of the developed computer-aided instructional material for children with intellectual disabilities as perceived by the two groups of respondents in terms of objectives, contents, language and style, and graphics and sounds, weighted mean was utilized; to determine the level of performance in Science of pupils with intellectual disabilities, mean and standard deviation were used. The findings revealed that the developed instructional material was very much accepted by having obtained an average mean of 4.4 and 4,7 as evaluated by the Sped teachers and IT experts respectively. The level of performance of children with intellectual disabilities after exposure to computer-aided instructional material obtained a mean of 4.8 and verbally interpreted as "Proficient" with standard deviation of 2.19. It was concluded that the developed computer-aided instructional material in Science for children with intellectual disabilities is very much accepted by the two groups of respondents and can be utilized by teachers to enhance performance in Science of children with intellectual disabilities. Based on the findings and conclusion of the study, the researchers recommend to utilize the computer-aided instructional material and to conduct further study on other topics in Science for children with intellectual disabilities.
