520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to contribute in the development of science and technology particularly in the area of electrical technology. This developed and evaluated device is entitled Residential Lightning Remote Control System which can be used as an alternative switch to control electrical loads from a distance without any wires. This study utilized the developmental and descriptive methods of research. The developmental research is a research method based on the systematic development of an existing project, while descriptive method rely technically on the observation of facts and data gathered. There were two groups of respondents who served as evaluators to label the device's acceptability. They are the technology experts and end-users. Based on the treatment of data gathered on the developed Residential Lightning Remote Control System, it was designed and constructed utilizing cheap and locally available materials. The respondents evaluated that the device is extremely accepted in terms of its design, usability, functionality, safety and maintenance. As to the significant difference between the evaluations conducted on the acceptability of Residential Lightning Remote Control Systems in terms of the variables mentioned, the study simply presents that there is no significant difference between the evaluations conducted by the two sets of evaluators. Relative to this, it was concluded that the device produces its desired output in terms of the design and functionality of parts. It is also carried out the expenses performance in terms of its usefulness and safety and maintenance. Based on the result of the study, it is recommended that further study on the test of efficiency of the device be conducted. Other researchers may conduct further study to improve the device, enhance the design for better performance and effectiveness. Further study can be done for the improvement of the device in the near future to improve its function and performance. Parallel study using GSM as device to control the function of light and other features can be added for expanding the range of the distance and angle on the accessibility of the device.
