520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to contribute to the development of science and technology particularly in the area of industrial technology. This study is entitled Development of soldering iron with variable wattages and lead feeder that can be used to melt lead in a comfortable way. The study utilized the developmental research method. There are two groups of respondents evaluators who evaluated the project to determine the level of acceptability of the developed soldering iron with variable wattages and lead feeder. These were the technology experts and the end-users. Based on the intensified treatment of data gathered. It was found that the development of soldering iron with variable wattages and lead feeder is constructed and developed out of locally available materials. The respondents revealed that the device is extremely accepted in terms of design, usefulness, functionality and safety features. As to the significant difference between the evaluations made by the electrical technology experts and students on the acceptability of the development of soldering iron with variable wattages and lead feeder, in terms of the aforementioned variables, the findings revealed that there is no significant difference between the evaluation of the Electrical technology experts and students in terms of the above mentioned variables. Relative to this, it is concluded that the device has produced its desired output in terms of the design and functionality of parts. It is also carried out the expected performance in terms of its usefulness and safety features. Based on the result of the study. It is recommended that every wattage should have LED as indicator. Other researchers may conduct further study to improve and effectiveness. Further study should be done for the improvement of the study in the near future to improve the function of the device.
