Degree type Thesis (Bachelor of Technology major in Electrical Technology) -- University of Rizal System-Morong.
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study entitled Portable Alternating Current Powerbank aimed to develop and construct the Portable Alternating Current Powerbank which can be used in industrial work. Specifically, it aimed to design and construct the Portable Alternating Current Powerbank out of locally available materials, perform try-out and revision, evaluate the acceptability of the project in terms of design, usefulness, safety and maintenance and durability and test the significant difference of the evaluation made by the experts and students. The researchers utilized the research instrument or evaluation sheet to determine the acceptability of the developed Portable alternating Current Powebank. The experts were the Electrical/Electronics Technology instructors of Industrial Technology and they validated the research instrument. The respondents provided pertinent information crucial to the completion of this study. The result were tallied and computed for the acceptability of the project. The first group were five (5) experts who have knowledge, skills and understanding on electrical operations, the other fifteen (15) were the students who would possibly use the Portable Alternating Current Powerbank. The statistical treatments used were the mean and the independent t-test. The t-test was used to test if there is any significant difference on the perception of the end users. On the acceptability of the project as evaluated by the experts and the students obtained a verbal interpretation of Very Much Accepted having a general average weighted mean of 4.6 and 4.4 respectively. The developed Portable Alternating Current Powerbank was designed and constructed out of locally available materials. The project was Very Much Accepted as evaluated by the respondents. The computed T-value in terms of Design, Usefulness, Safety and Maintenance and Durability showed that there was no significant difference on the evaluation made by the experts and students. It was recommended that the device should be enhanced output by using AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) for the protection of the inverter from overload.
