Summary, etc. This Study aimed to assess the needs of the community particularly in terms of the livelihood appropriate to the residents of Barangay Sitio Yagit, Rodriguez, Rizal. The Fifty (50) selected persons were taken as respondents utilizing simple random sampling design. The study sought to answer the profile of respondents in terms of sex, age, civil status, religion, role in the family, educational attainment, number of earners in the family, number of the family member, special skills, talent, monthly family income, estimated monthly expenses of the family, agriculture, vocational, food processing. cosmetology, entrepreneurship. The profile of the respondents revealed there are more females respondents than male with a frequency of 30 or 60 percent. In terms of Age, 42 percent of the respondents were within the age bracket of 18-25 followed by 26-35 years of age at 26 percent. Civil status revealed that 46 percent were married, 28 percent were Single and 18 percent, were live in partners. Religion revealed that Roman Catholic dominated the respondents with a frequency of 18 or 39 percent. With regard to the respondents Role in the family, Mothers have 24 or 48 percent. With regard to the respondents highest educational attainment, 26 or 56 percent of the 50 respondents were high school graduates, 42 percent of the respondents had 2 members who were working. With a frequency of 21 or 42 percent on earning and 20 percent had three members working earning 2 percent. Fifty eight (58) percent of the respondents had 3-5 members, 33 percent had 6-9 members and 16 percent had 1-2 members, only one had 10 members and above. Of the 50 respondents 56 percent were engaged in business, 16 percent were taking care of animals, 14 percent were Farming and another 14 percent were into Sewing. 30 percent of the respondents were earning from 3,000.00 and below. But their monthly family expenses were estimated to be equal to their income. The respondents needed farming skills at 42 percent 30 percent of the respondents wanted to learn sewing, 40 percent wanted to learn skills of meat processing, 60 percent wanted to learn hair cutting, and 70 percent wanted to learn entrepreneurial skills. There is no significant relationship between the profile of the skills needed by of the respondents and their profile.
