Summary, etc. This study aimed to assess the needs of the community particularly in terms of the livelihood appropriate to the residents of Barangay Puray, Rodriguez Rizal. The two hundred (200) selected people were the respondents of this study utilizing simple random sampling. In the profile of respondents, there are more female respondents than male with the frequency of 140 or 70.00 percent. In terms of age, majority of the respondents are within the age bracket of 46-55 with a frequency 56 or 28.00 percent. In terms of civil status, most the respondents are married with a frequency of 156 or 78.00 percent. With regard to religion, majority is Roman Catholic with a frequency of 157 or 78.50 percent With regard to the role in the family, majority of them are mothers with a frequency of 123 or 61.50 percent. In terms of educational attainment, most of the respondents are elementary level with the frequency of 125 or 62.50 percent. The distribution of the socio-economic profile of the respondents in terms of estimated family income, majority of the respondents earned 3,000-5,000 with a frequency of 94 or 156.67 percent. In determining the problem within the community, the survey reveals the respondents' number of earner in the family there is 1 member of who was working with a frequency of 98 or 49.00 percent. With regard to the respondents' number of members in the family, family with 4-5 members has a frequency distribution of 92 or 46.00 percent. With regard to the estimated monthly family expenses of the family research found out that most of the families consume 3,000-5,000 with a frequency distribution of 73 or 36.50 percent. With regard to the special skills/talents of the respondents, majority of them are farmers with a frequency of 79 or 39.50 percent.
