| Summary, etc | PROJECT SUMMARY<br/><br/>The project entitled "VHAL'S BROILER PROJECT which was consisted of two cycles of operation. The 1" cycle was started on July 14, 2015 and ended on August 28, 2015 was financed by Mr. Dionel Y. Douglas while the 2nd cycle started on November 21, 2015 and ended on December 29, 2015 was financed by the proponents. It was managed by the proponents namely Feleciano D. Añasco, Sofia C Hassan, Dexter L. Labandia, and Julius Jhay V. Valdez<br/><br/>The project was implemented at the University of Rizal System Rodriguez Campus, in front of College of Agriculture building. The site was chosen by the proponents because of the existing poultry house, availability of water, electricity most importantly its accessibility to marketing and transportation of supplies and materials. The proponents renovated the poultry house by replacing some defective bamboo slats using new bamboo slats and also sealed some damaged part of the roof. The poultry house has a total floor area of two hundred (200) square feet and can hold two hundred (200) heads of chicken and three point fifty (3.50) feet high from the ground to the flooring and the wall from three (3) feet to four (4) feet high. After renovation, the proponents disinfected the poultry house by using a mixture of chlorine and water and applied it by means of spraying.<br/><br/>In the 1st cycle, the total heads of the chicks were two hundred (200), it was purchased at Commonwealth Poultry Supply. The 2nd cycle with two hundred (200) heads of chicks was purchased at Sampagitaan Street, Sta. Maria, Bulacan at Marshal Poultry Farm. In the first and second cycle, the price of the chick was twenty five pesos (P 25.00) per head for the total of five thousand. |
