520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of using clay and graphing applications in leaming Grade 10 Mathematics. This was conducted during the School Year 2018-2019 at Kasiglahan Village National High School

The researchers used the quantitative and qualitative design in the form of experiment and case study Experimentation was used to control the variables of the study to which the students were exposed to. Thirty-eight students were used in the control group while 42 students were used in the experimental group. Case studies were used to receive feedback from leamers using the intervention tools

The mean scores of the experimental group increased from 37 64 to 63.16 More specifically, there was an increase from 10.19 to 20.15 in Polynomial Functions, 16.1 to 21.19 in Properties of Circles, 11.05 to 21 88 in Equation of Circles On the other hand, the mean scores of the control group increased from 33.92 to 51.44. Findings also show a decrease in both groups standard deviation scores indicating homogeneity after instruction. There was significant difference between the pretest and posttest mean scores of the control and experimental group in all learning areas gaining a P-value 0 at 0.05 level of significance. There was significant difference between the posttest mean scores of the control and experimental group, as the P-value did not exceed 0.05 level. The student respondents agreed that using clay and graphing application as tools provides a better learning environment for discovery learning. Likewise, the use of this tools made lessons easier
