Summary, etc The study aimed to know the validity and effectiveness of the developedal modules in Earth and Life Scence of Holy Spirit National high School in Grade 11 senior high school students

it sought to answer the problems with regards to the validity and areas of improvement of the developed modules as evaluated by experts and the performance of the students in the pretest and posttest in the bwenty six (26) leaming competencies from 1.1 to 1.16 for Earth Science and from 1.17 to 1.26 for Life Science

The study utilized the pretest and Posttest Design and underwent pilot testing testing and expert validation by ten (10) master teachers in science with doctorate degree and master's degree in science. The control and experimental group was identified using the random sampling technique There are thirty seven (37) students used in the experimental and thirty two (32) from the control groups. Pretest was given to both groups Respondents from the experiment group used the developed modules in earth and life science. On the other hand, the respondents from the control were given conventional tools in teaching. After using the developed modules, fifteen (15) students from the experimental group was interviewed to know what their perception about the modules. The pretest and posstest results were gathered and analyzed through appropriate statistica treatment using SPSS version 25 software.
You sent
Based on the dala gathered from the evaluation by the ten (10) experts in the developed modules it was found out that the developed modules passed all the criteriar Content Format, and Presentation and Organization. Comments and suggestions by experts will serve as a guide for the researcher in improving the leeming materials

The experimental group showed improvement in the different competencies as showed a total mean score of 32.00 during the posttest from 13.73 during the protest. However, unnoticeable improvement was showed by the control group as its total mean scores minimally increased from 12.94 during the pretest to 19.69 during the past tost

There was a significant difference in the performance of the students in the pretest and posttest mean scores of the experimental and the control group since both have the compuled p value 0.00 is lower than 0.05 level of significance

The was a significant difference between the post test mean scores of the experimental and control groups since the p values in all competencies are less than 0.05 level of significance.

Furthermore, all of the student says that module is interesting because they are motivated to learn especially when they got low score in the pretest in every module This gives them ani awareness to do better on the posttest in every module. They also answered that because of the different activities they performed in every module it improved theer critical thinking and problem solving skills. They said that module is useful as a resource book for students and very helpful in their study for it helps them to understand the lesson well
You sent
The developed modules in earth and life science can be used as a supplemental materials. Students shows positive feedback after using the developed modules in earth and life science
