| Summary, etc | Education serves as a catalyst for broadening individuals perspectives and fostering awareness, playing a pivotal role in shaping informed and engaged citizens its significance cannot be overstated. As educational methodologies evolive, e-learning emerges as a valuable resource for both students and educators alike. Particularly in the first decade of the 21th century, the rapid advancements in e-learning technologies have paved the way for widespread adoption of online approaches within the educational landscape, revolutionizing the way knowledge is imparted and acquired.

This study aimed to assess the validity and acceptability of a developed chemistry e-laboratory manual for grade 10 students at Commonwealth High School during the fourth quarter of academic year 2023-2024. The manual, created using Google Forms with embedded links to online simulations and supporting videos, served as a reference material to aid students in their science learning journey specifically in the difficult lessons in chemistry. Least mastered competencies in the fourth quarter were identified from the diagnostic test results to craft the e-lab manual aligned with the curriculum guide in science 10. Validation of the developed e-lab manual was conducted by seven master teachers in science, while the level of acceptability was evaluated by one hundred grade 10 students and eleven science teachers. From the respondents. the feedback were gathered from ten grade 10 students and ten science experts.

The limitations of this study include the necessity of internet access for utilization
You sent
of the developed material. Results indicated highly valid quality and high acceptability of the e-laboratory manual, highlighting its effectiveness in facilitating engaging and effective learning experiences, promoting critical thinking, and enhancing science education. These findings underscore the importance of implementing e-laboratory manuals to enhance academic performance and provide equitable access to quality science education.

The developed chemistry e-laboratory manual is a prime example of how content, teaching methods, and technology can come together to offer exceptional learning experiences that encourage critical thinking and relate to real-life situations. This makes it an invaluable resource for science educators. Online experiments and e-laboratories provide dynamic and accessible opportunities for immersive learning experiences, fostering creativity and independent learning. They serve as valuable alternatives to physical laboratories, enriching science education. By incorporating technology, the e-laboratory manual becomes a transformative learning tool that enhances the study of science and empowers students to be lifelong learners and critical thinkers. As education moves towards a digital future, the e-laboratory manual demonstrates the endless possibilities of technology in advancing teaching and learning in the 21st century. |
