Summary, etc The objective of this study was to identify the perceptions of parents toward the challenges that LGBTQIA+ children experience. The study used a questionnaire and one-on-one interviews to determine how parents respond and view the challenges that their LGBTQIA children are facing. Additionally, the study looked at how parents support their LGBTQIA+kids and how their support affects their wellness in general. The involved participants were 20 parents who have LGBTQIA+ children ages from 12 to 17 years who are residing in San Jose, Burgos, or San Rafael in Rodriguez, Rizal.<br/><br/>The researchers identified the profile of the respondents in terms of their age; gender, civil status; religion; educational attainment; occupation; and family income. Also, the researchers prepared a survey questionnaire, which contains their basic information, their perception of the challenges that LGBTQIA+ children face in our society, their role as a parent of an LGBTQIA+ child, and recommendation to the community and to the parents on how they will support the LGBTQIA+ children in facing those challenges.<br/><br/>In this study, the researchers sought to know the perception of parents towards the challenges encountered by their LGBTQIA+ children, their thoughts, and points of view regarding this topic which they used a qualitative research method. A qualitative research method such as in-depth interviews, focus groups, observations, and document analysis. This research used a Descriptive research design which involves observing and describing the behavior of a subject without influencing it in any way.
