Summary, etc This study aimed to determine the challenges encountered by female breadwinners in San Jose, Rodriguez, Rizal. The study is qualitative research, using open-ended questionnaires through interviews to have an in-depth understanding of the phenomena. The research design is Case Study. A case study is an in-depth study of a particular research problem rather than a sweeping statistical survey or comprehensive comparative inquiry. Data are gathered from a variety of sources and by using several different methods such as observations & interviews. The research questionnaires entailed questions about the profile, challenges, and coping mechanisms of the respondents. The study has 10 participants and the interviews were in person and online. Purposive Sampling was used in selecting the participants. Purposive sampling is a research technique in which the participants were selected on purpose based on their characteristics in line with what was needed in the research.<br/><br/>The gathered data from the respondents after the interview showed that the majority of the respondents belong to the age bracket of 18-25 with 4 of then making it 40 percent. Most of them consist of 2-5 family members which amounts to 60 percent or 6 of the respondents. Respondents who are single have the most number with 6 of them coming to 60%. In regard to the respondents' monthly income, most of them range to 11,000-20,000 and 21,000-30,000 with 6 of them being equally distributed to these brackets with 30 percent each.
