| Summary, etc | This study aimed to determine the influence of leadership style on the self-efficacy and creativity of office staff. The researchers used a quantitative approach in collecting information and methodological triangulation to strengthen the findings. The respondents of this research were office staff from Land Transportation Office (LTO) Main Office located on East Avenue, Quezon City. This study utilized mean and Pearson R to treat the quantitative data while thematic analysis for the qualitative data.<br/><br/>The findings are summarized as follows: On the leadership style of an office manager, it was exposed that they practiced Idealized Influence under Transformational Leadership (M=3.22), which affirmed that manager makes his subordinates feel good around him, subordinates have complete faith and proud to be associated with him. On the self-efficacy of office staff (M=3.39), it was revealed that they can always solve difficult problems if they try hard enough. In terms of correlation between leadership and office staff self-efficacy (r=0.32), it was confirmed that there is a low positive correlation. On the level of creativity of office staff (M=3.35), it was proved that they suggest ways to achieve goals. In terms of correlation between leadership and office staff creativity (r=0.06), it was confirmed that there is a very low positive correlation.<br/><br/>Based on the findings of the study, the following conclusions arrived: Office manager in Land Transportation Office (LTO) serves as a role model to their subordinates' trust, maintain their faith and respect, show dedication to them, motivates and support them. They are establishing a positive working environment to achieve success in work.<br/><br/>Additionally, office staff in Land Transportation Office (LTO) have enough belief and confidence in themselves to overcome challenges and complete the task given to them with or without support from their manager. However, leadership positively, but not totally, affects the self-efficacy of office staff.<br/><br/>Office staff in Land Transportation Land Transportation Office (LTO) also have enough creativity to come up with innovative solutions. They can look for new ways to solve problems they encounter at work, as well as, new ways to accomplish their task more effectively and efficiently. However, leadership positively, but not completely, affects the creativity of office staff.<br/><br/>With the cited conclusions and findings of the study, the following overall recommendations were presented: Land Transportation Office (LTO) can refer to this study in order to create a healthy work environment and promote good employer-employee relationships for the success of their organization. Office manager should continuously build good relationships with their subordinates and encourage teamwork to help them increase their self-efficacy and boost their creativity, allowing them to complete tasks and develop new ways for more effective and efficient service to the public. Office staff should keep participating and collaborating with others to boost their creativity. Confidence and belief in their abilities will also help them conquer or overcome challenges at work, helping their organization achieve its goal. They should not give up but focus on completing every task with satisfaction. Future researchers, the next researchers can refer to this study for an in-depth exploration of leadership, employee self-efficacy, and creativity. They can consider exploring other factors that strongly affect employees' self-efficacy and creativity. They can also have demographic profile in their study if they want to explore the same variables to know if there are differences when respondents are grouped according to their profile. |
