Summary, etc This study was conducted to find out the effects of e-learning platforms on the mental health as perceived by the respondents of science education students through the use of e-learning platforms with the participation of sixty science students who experienced using the online education learning platforms.

The researchers used quantitative method and analyzed the data gathered and interpreted the result based on h=the profile of the respondents in terms of age, sex, parent's educational attainment, and their monthly family income. Based on the gathered information, the following data were made

Most of the respondents were female and majority of them were composed of 20-21 years old.

The results revealed that as perceived by the respondents, it showed that e-Learning platforms has brought positive effects to their mental health but still they manage to maintain the academic discipline. Even though the e-Learning platforms became beneficial to the student's discipline, majority of the respondents revealed they were experiencing episodes of pressure and nervousness while using the e-Learning platforms that affected the mental health of the science education students.

Based on the findings of this research, the following conclusion were drawn:

Female science education students are more vulnerable and affected by the effects of using e-Learning platforms as the primary mode of learning process during the Covid pandemic. Using online educational platforms in academic learning process, the convenience of studying can be easier. However, it can have a negative effect on the mental health that can make the students more anxious.

Students, must find ways that can motivate themselves more and help them to cope with the anxieties they are experiencing and be able to deal with it not only while using the e-Learning platforms but at all times so that it cannot be an obstacle from being productive individual. Future researchers, so they can conduct future studies regarding this research to have broader result and information and use this study as a guide for further understanding and awareness of effects that may arise when using the e-Leaming platforms.
