Summary, etc The study aimed to determine the level of acceptability and effectiveness of comic strips as aid in learning Mathematics for Grade 9 students. This was conducted during the School Year 2018-2019 at Kasiglahan Village National High School.

This study applied experimental method using pretest-posttest control and experimental group and descriptive method utilizing evaluative design to determine the level of acceptability of comic strips as assessed by the teachers.

The mean scores of the experimental and the control group during the pretest and posttest both increased from 9.14 to 22.02 and 9 10 to 18.06, respectively. Findings also showed an increase in both groups' standard deviation indicating a decrease of homogeneity after the intervention. There was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest mean scores of control group and experimental group with the p-value of 0.00 which is less than 0.05 level of significance There was a significant difference between the posttest mean scores of the control and experimental group. The level of acceptability as perceived by the teacher respondents on the developed comic strips with respect to objectives, contents, activities, organization, creativity, styles and presentations, and evaluation obtained an average weighted mean of 4.32 for objectives, 4.47 for the contents, 4 36 for the activities, 4.34 for organization, 4.20 for the creativity, 4.35 for the styles and presentations, and 4.31 for the evaluation All indicators are highly acceptable except creativity.

For the conclusions, the use of comic strips is effective as aid in learning Mathematics.
