| Summary, etc | This study aimed to study and analyze the psychosexual development of selected grade VI pupils. The respondents of the study were 15 pupils wherein eight were female and seven were males from Rodriguez Heights Elementary School. This study was conducted during the School Year 2017-2018. A qualitative research was utilized to attain the objective of the study.<br/><br/>From the gathered data, the following were the findings, on the profile of the respondents females dominated males. Most of them belonged to second siblings. Only one family had fourteen children.<br/><br/>On how the respondents coped with the changes that happened to them, in terms of physical changes, the respondents enjoyed to play some sports and energetic activities, and to eat nutritious foods. In terms of emotional aspect, some of them sought advice from their parents while the others just kept their own feelings by themselves in terms of mental few of them sought an advice from their parents especially those who were curious about some things. In terms of social aspect all of the respondents enjoyed spending time with their peers, and loved to talk about their own feelings.<br/><br/>On the most common problems encountered by the respondents in dealing with their Peers, they experienced misunderstanding, bullied and teased. In dealing with their parents, some of them experienced lack of financial support, treated unfairly and had favoritism in dealing with their teachers most of the respondents experienced being embarrassed, treated unfairly and had favoritism<br/><br/>With the enumerated findings, the following were the conclusions drawn Some families still have bigger number siblings. Pupils have their own effective way of coping with their changes happening to them. Pupils certainly find difficulty in dealing with their problems if not supported by the people around them.<br/><br/>In the light of the findings and conclusions elicited, the following were hereby recommended<br/><br/>For the Pupils. They should be aware of the changes that will happen to them. For the Parents. With the help of this study, they can learn the proper way of guiding their children, and create a harmonious relationship with the teachers and other faculty members. For the Teachers This study will help them to improve and create a peaceful teacher-pupil relationship. For the Guidance Counselor <br/>This study will give them an additional insights to assist pupils in the problems they are encountering that pertain to their psychosexual development. For the School Administration. This study will help them to implement programs on proper dealing with the psychosexual development of the pupils. For the Future Researchers. This study will give them insights and bases on the psychosexual development of the pupils and use for the better future researchers. |
