520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study entitled DIGITALLY CONVERTED AIR CONDITIONING UNIT (ACU) TRAINER BOARD was conducted during the calendar year 2023-2024. It aimed to develop and test the acceptability of the Digitally Converted Air Conditioning Unit (ACU) Trainer Board. The subjects of the study were Ten (10) experts and twenty (20) end- users from the third year and fourth year in the College of Industrial Technology who were chosen using purposive sampling technique. This study utilized a developmental descriptive research method utilizing the questionnaire checklist, validated by the experts and administered to the respondents to gather the needed data. For the analysis and interpretation of the data, a Likert scale was utilized to determine the acceptability of the developed Digitally Converted Air Conditioning Unit (ACU) Trainer Board. Based on the summary of findings, the developed Digitally Converted Air Conditioning Unit (ACU) Trainer Board. was designed using locally available materials, which consist of a mini air cooler, switches, welded steels, plyboard, inverter, controller, battery, and connecting wires. The design is based on the requirement to make the finished product easy to use for everyone, including the end-users who has little knowledge of electric appliances. On the try-out and revision of the Digitally Converted Air Conditioning Unit (ACU) Trainer Board, the researchers encountered technical problems such as the connection of wires which have been resolved by changing the wirings into more compatible wire gauges. Furthermore, the researchers also encountered an issue in the battery which is due to the wrong wattage output, which has been solved by indicating the right wattage in the controller. Lastly, on the level of acceptability of the developed Digitally Converted Air Conditioning Unit (ACU) Trainer Board in terms of usefulness, safety and maintenance, durability, and design was found extremely acceptable by both end-users and experts through statistical treatments. Based on the findings and conclusions derived, the following recommendations are hereby offered, The timing precision for ACU Trainer Board should be improved, Additional diagnostic features for easier issue identification should be added, Safety mechanisms for enhanced protection should be strengthen, and Parallel studies should be conducted considering other variables.
