520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to design and construct a Solar-Powered Thermo-Electric Dehumidifier, performed try-out and revisions, determined the level of performance in terms of humidity level, charging and discharging time. Also, it aimed to determine the level of acceptability in terms of design, functionality, usefulness, portability, safety and maintainability. The study was conducted in the University of Rizal System, Morong Campus. It utilized a questionnaire checklist with thirty (30) respondents consisted of one (1) Electrical Professor, two (2) HVACR professors, seven (7) HVACR technicians and twenty (20) end users on the academic year of 2022-2023. The researchers used a descriptive, developmental and experimental methods of research in conducting the study. Upon finalization of the design, materials and procedure, construction and development, it was proven that a Solar-Powered Thermo-Electric Dehumidifier can be designed and constructed through locally and carefully sourced materials, checking, try-out and revision. As for the try-out and revisions, capacity wire and port needs to be 12v and higher to accommodate better distribution of energy. The switch must be 12v and higher voltage switch to prevent overheating of the device. The redesign of casing, fan and peltier to improve the versatility and easiness of transport. On the level of performance of the Solar-Powered Thermo-Electric Dehumidifier in terms of humidity level, it was found high level and the performance result of Solar-Powered Thermo-Electric Dehumidifier in terms of charging and discharging time was found fast charging and discharging time. As for the level of acceptability of the Solar-Powered Thermo-Electric Dehumidifier in terms of design, functionality, usefulness, portability, safety and maintainability, it was found extremely acceptable by both the end users and experts. In conclusion the Solar-Powered Thermo-Electric Dehumidifier was extremely acceptable in design, functionality, usefulness, portability, safety, and maintainability by experts and end-users. Researchers found its charging and discharging times to be fast. The device's performance in managing humidity levels depends on the room size, activities, water presence, outside temperature, and room density.
