520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. This study aimed to develop and evaluate the "Dual-Powered Mobile Smart Bin System with Full Capacity Locking Control Notification for URS-Morong." This evaluation involved conducting tests in a remote location within an educational setting to assess the device’s performance, level of acceptability, and key variables designed to assist the University of Rizal System – Morong campus in managing waste effectively. The research addressed key questions regarding the device's performance in an academic setting. The researchers hypothesized that the device would operate efficiently and cohesively, maintaining a good standard of functionality and reliability suitable for the target location. The tests included iterations to determine the accuracy, average, and precision of the device using equations for average and population standard deviation. User feedback was also used to evaluate the device’s five key variables, with the weighted mean employed to analyze and interpret the survey responses. The research employed a developmental approach, involving continuous iterations of designing, testing, and revising the system in programming for monitoring and locking waste bins, aided by sensing and measuring devices as well as other electronic modules. Subjects included faculty staff, experts, and students, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through a survey based on the five key objectives, and responses were analyzed to determine the device's performance across the established criteria. Based on the findings, the researchers successfully devised the product with working components integrated in a unified manner according to the device's programming and intended objective. The system was tested in multiple iterations to understand its behavior and to develop filters addressing challenges in sensory readings, which resulted in improved accuracy and precision. Feedback from target users indicated that the device achieved a high level of acceptability in all key areas. It demonstrated high levels of functionality, efficiency, durability, maintainability, and reliability, suggesting that the device could perform its intended function effectively in an academic setting. Regarding durability, further improvements are recommended to enhance the device’s resilience. In conclusion, the "Dual-Powered Mobile Smart Bin System with Full Capacity Locking Control Notification for URS-Morong" successfully met its objectives. The device operates properly, is interconnected, and demonstrates functionality, efficiency, durability, maintainability, and reliability. However, the reliability aspect requires further adjustment to enhance usability in an educational setting. Based on these findings, it is recommended to further improve the device in terms of user reliability and overall performance. This includes adding advanced technologies that may benefit users, refining the device, and conducting additional tests to evaluate resilience under various environmental conditions.
