Summary, etc. The study focused on the Solid Waste Management in selected barangays in Antipolo City. Input to Tourism Development The respondents were 10 elected officials in seven barangays in the Antipolo City. The study was conducted in the academic year 2014-2015. A descriptive method of research utilizing questionnaire-checklist was the instrument of the study. The questionnaire-checklist was focused on the areas of profile emphasizing the number of years of implementation of solid waste management practices in the specific barangay; the solid waste management practices in the matters of reduce, reuse and recycle in the Barangay, and contribution of solid waste management to tourism development The result of the study showed that majority of the number of years of implementation of solid waste management practices in the selected barangays was for 2 years practice of the reduce, reuse, and recycle program. The result further showed that the reduce program was highly practiced in terms of involvement of the people enhancing their sense of community, the reuse and the recycle program were also highly practiced in terms of Collecting and loading mixed wastes from barangay streets into the garbage trucks to dumpsites; and usable materials are being reused for decorations and other objects. The contribution of solid waste management practices proved the protection of ecological environment of every barangay in Antipolo City. However, the researches recommended further trainings of workers in the solid waste management of every barangay specifically on reducing, reusing and recycling materials. In addition, there should be facilities for the 3Rs, the reduce, reuse, and recycle for better solid waste management practices.
