Summary, etc. This study determined the tourism language competency of Bachelor of Science in Tourism students in the University of Rizal System. It was conducted during first and second semester of school year 2014-2015. The respondents of the study composed of third and fourth year Bachelor of Science in Tourism students of University of Rizal System in Angono, Tanay and Antipolo Campus for a total of 109 respondents. This research applied the descriptive method utilizing a multiple choice questionnaire which constitutes tourism or terminologies referred to tourism language competency applied in the subjects such as Principles of Tourism, Hospitality Laws, Domestic and World Tourism and Diplomatic and Consular Practices. The study shows that the level of competencies on tourism language of the third and fourth year Bachelor of Science in Tourism student on the subject Principles of Tourism, Hospitality Laws, Domestic and World Tourism and Diplomatic and Consular Practices were generally Moderately Competent. Based on the study it is recommended that training or lessons on language competency be given more time to make students develop understanding and comprehension of the different terminologies and technical test of specific major subjects such as Principles of Tourism, Hospitality Laws, Domestic and World Tourism and Diplomatic and Consular Practices.
