Summary, etc. This study aimed to determine the Impact of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage Shrine as a Tourist Destination to the City of Antipolo. It was conducted in the six (6) nearby barangays namely Dalig, Dela Paz, San Jose, San Isidro, San Luis, and San Roque where the shrine is situated in Antipolo City during the school year 2014-2015. The researchers utilized descriptive method in the conduct of this study. One hundred and twenty (120) people composed of residents and Barangay officials from the six (6) nearby Barangays were taken as respondents of this study. The researchers used the simple random sampling using lottery method to determine the number of respondents. Variables such as services, taxes, community attitude, environmental impact, social and cultural impact and economic impact were considered. The data gathered were aided with the use of statistical tools such as frequency, percentage, rank distribution, mean, standard deviation and one-way ANOVA. The findings revealed that based on the profile of the respondents, majority belonged to 21-35 years old, female and were equally distributed from six (6) Barangays. In terms of the Impact of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage Shrine as a Tourist Destination to the City of Antipolo with respect to services, environmental impact, social and cultural impact and economic impact, results revealed that these variables were strongly agreed by the respondents. However, in terms of taxes and community attitude, the respondents' perception is "agreed". It was also revealed that in terms of age and sex of the respondents, there is no significant difference in the perception of the respondents on the impact of Our Lady of Peace and Good voyage shrine as a tourist destination to the City of Antipolo with respect to services, taxes, community attitude, environmental impact, social and cultural impact and economic impact. Moreover, in terms of place of residency, there is no significant difference in the perception of the respondents on the impact of Our lady of peace and good Voyage Shrine as a tourist destination to the city of Antipolo with respect to services, community attitude and social and cultural impact; however, it has significant difference with respect to taxes, environmental impact and economic impact. Based on the aforementioned findings, the researchers hereby recommended that the City of Antipolo should do the following: implement better standard of the services of shops, restaurants and other businesses that can encourage the tourist to come and gain their satisfactory; have price guidelines and proper marketing of local resources to encourage tourist who will visit the Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage Shrine to purchase goods that could help local government and businesses in the city; facilitate meeting visitors and promote programs for the prevention of ecological decline to give them better understanding and to know individual responsibilities to the environment; promote cultural exchange to market local resources, culture, products and tourist destinations to encourage them to come and see the City of Antipolo; propose livelihood programs for the community using any local resources to develop their community attitude; and guarantee their community that their taxes are worth paying for.
