520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. This study sought to examine the role performance of master teachers in the Division of Rizal by assessing perceptions of their effectiveness in instructional leadership, mentoring, curriculum development, and professional growth. It also investigated how these perceptions vary across demographics, and identified challenges faced by master teachers and their impact on teacher performance and educational outcomes. The study utilized a concurrent mixed-methods of research, as it conducted both surveys and interviews at the same time to gather both quantitative and qualitative data. A two-stage sampling method was used, incorporating simple random sampling and fixed ratio allocation to ensure a balanced and representative selection. Five districts - Angono, Binangonan, Cardona, Morong, and Taytay were randomly chosen from the 13 districts in Rizal using the fishbowl technique. Ten schools were then selected through proportion allocation across these districts. All master teachers from these schools, (35 in total) and their respective principals (10) were included. Additionally, a fixed ratio allocation method was applied to select 7 teachers per master teacher, resulting in 245 teachers, with a total number of 290 respondents. Additionally, the participants in the interview were solely the same thirty-five (35) Master Teachers who participated in the survey.
