520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. This study was conducted to determine the effects of different brands of commercial feeds on the weight increment of tilapia fingerlings. The study was done in three treatments, Treatment 1 was fed with commercial feed Cargill, Treatment 2 fed with commercial feed 2 Robina, and treatment 3 was fed commercial feed Tateh. Each treatment was replicated five times. it was conducted at the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC) Binangonan Freshwater Station and started last August 6 and ended September 17, 2002. Completely Randomized Design (CRD) and analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was utilized as the experimental design and Statistical Treatment. Data gathering of the study was through sampling, which was done every 15 days as well as feeding ratio, were also adjusted in order to determine the growth increment of fish. With the computed F-value of .83 is lower than the tabulated value of 5.99 at 5 percent level of probability, the null hypothesis which state that there is no significant difference between the weight increment of Tilapia Nilotica (Oreochromis niloticus).
