Dissertation note: Thesis BS Biology University of Rizal System. Cardona 2018 Summary: Extract of C. blumei was fed to a total of 18 albino mice. The effect of C. blumei was tested on lowering the blood cholesterol of Albino mice. The control group was not fed of any Treatment. Treatment I used 75% volume of Mayana Extract Treatment II used 50% of volume of mayana extract. The blood sampling of the mice was collected during the Pre-test and tested by the experts. After one week of Treatment, the mice blood was collected directly through the heart and tested by the experts. Treatment I have the lowest mean difference, followed by treatment II, while the control shows the highest mean difference. There was significant effect between the laboratory pre-test and Post-test of the Albino mice which was fed with 50% and 75% extract of mayana leaf. However, the control group which was not fed by the Mayana leaf extract showed no significant effect on the laboratory pre-test and post-test. But it shows significant difference on the effect of different concentrations of Mayana leaf extract in lowering cholesterol level of Albino mice.
