The study evaluated the ergonomic work behavior of government offices in Barangay Sampaloc, Tanay Rizal. This was conducted during the schoolyear 2017-2018. A survey questionnaire-checklist was utilized as data gathering instrument. The data gathered were analyzed and tabulated with the use of appropriate statistical tools. The descriptive method of research was used in this study with thirty (30) across six (6) government offices in the said Barangay served as respondents of the study. Accidental Sampling technique was employed. Through the analysis of data presented, it was concluded that majority of the respondents belonged to the age bracket of 41-50 and 51-60 years old, female, married, administrative aide, and 11 years and above in the government service. The respondents work habits is not so much in conformity with ergonomic standards. However, their workstations are in conformity with ergonomic standards. There is no significant difference on the evaluation of the respondents on the ergonomic work behavior of government offices in Barangay Sampaloc, Tanay, Rizal when they are grouped as to age, sex, civil status, current position and length of service. Majority of the problem identified hampers and affects work performance but they can even be ignored and proper installation for good ventilation and Educate employees on ergonomics are the prime solutions to the identified problems. From the above-mentioned findings and conclusions, it is recommended that good ventilation should be provided in the government offices in barangay Sampaloc, Tanay, Rizal by installing ergonomic equipment as per respondents' suggestion to increase the productivity of the employees. Education, Training and Information regarding ergonomic related topics should be included in the budget as well as in the employees' development plan. Government procurement unit should consider buying ergonomic equipment, furniture and fixtures needed in the office since it can contribute to employees' productivity. To meet accreditation, International Organization for Standardization or ISO and other certification standards, consulting experts in ergonomics may be considered by the government offices. And a similar study may be conducted by the next researcher/s using private offices as the subject of the study as well as other areas of ergonomics such as physical, cognitive and environmental ergonomics
