The study aimed to assess the needs of various industries for human resource development management graduates in the city of Antipolo. The respondents are firms from the different industries currently established and operating in Antipolo City where graduates of the human resource development management program can be possible employed. The researchers used the questionnaire checklist as the major instrument to gather data and information needed in the study. To measure the validity of the instrument, which was the basis of its finalization, it was validated by various firms and establishments in Barangay Sampaloc, Tanay, Rizal. Frequency, percentage and rank distribution were used to determine the profile of the company and problems encountered by the firm, while weighted mean and Borich test (MWDS) were used to determine the specific skills in human resource development management graduates and the level of importance and need of the firm for the same. Each questionnaire has been distributed to the industries and was accomplished by managers, supervisors and human resource personnel. Based on the analysis of gathered data relative to the profile of the firms, results showed that there are more private or non-government institution which responded to the study. Most of the firms are engaged in the provision of service, trading and sales marketing. Most of the firms are operating for less than 10 years, maintaining less than five (5) branches with 10 to 20 employees. As for the gathered data regarding the level of needs and importance of the skills to the firms, results showed that the industry has a high degree of need with regards to technical, interpersonal and organizational skills since the computed mean for each of the skills mentioned resulted with verbal interpretations as highly needed and very important. Based on the gathered data, it was concluded that the industry has a high level of need in terms of technical, interpersonal and organizational skills. Also, it was observed that since most of the industry are in the line with the provision of service and trading, the students especially the human resource development management graduates can be employed by agencies that specialize in that particular industry. Based on the analysis of the results and conclusions, the researchers recommended that the university should conduct additional trainings/seminars for students to strengthen their self-improvement and interpersonal skills to prepare them for employment. It was also recommend that the college/university should continuously strengthen its quality of instruction to enhance the technical skills of the students especially computer skills as more companies are becoming dependent on technology. The college/university should formulate relevant activities for the enhancement of the students' organizational skills as these skills are highly needed by industries. The researchers recommend that the college/university should conduct periodic monitoring of the status of the human resource development management graduates so that they can assess the program's relevance and continue its improvement. The university should review and formulate necessary revisions for the curriculum so as to ensure its relevance taking into consideration the needs of the industries. Lastly, it is recommended that a similar study that further investigates the performance of human resource development management graduates in their current work should be conducted for results comparisons and evaluations.
