EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The study "Transportation Model of Routes of Rizal Gas Corporation (RGC) was conducted during the academic year 2013-2014. The purpose of the study was to minimize the transportation expenses of Rizal Gas Corporation (RGC) by using Linear programming. Linear Programming is one of the components of Operating Research and Simplex Method. This was done to determine the minimum transportation cost of Rizal Gas Corporation. The actual data was used with LP Model in minimizing the transportation expenses of Rizal Gas Corporation. The researchers obtaineed a minimum cost of Php. 3, 905, 271. Furthermore, to verify their findings they used simplex method as another method. The result obtained here are the same as in the previous method. This outcome justified the findings. The computational results provided the minimal total transportation cost and the values for the decision variables for optimality after solving the Transportation Problem by using Simplex Method, the optimum solutions provided the valuable information.
