Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Science in Psychology) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The Study entitled "Coping Strategies of Adolescents who Have Experienced Early Death" The Researchers conducted the research with a purpose of determining the coping strategies developed by the adolescents who have experienced early parental death. There were five (5) selected participants from the residences of different barangays at Rizal Province. The study made use of a case study type of qualitative method of research. It is designed to reveal a target audience's ranger of behavior and perceptions that drive it with reference to specific topics or issues. It did utilize a researcher-made structured interview and did not involve measurement of statistics. It is a method of inquiry employed in many different academic disciplines traditionally in social sciences. The discussion that respondents are able to use the two coping strategies, the emotion and problem -focused coping strategies with the support of the people important on them. As General recommendation, future researchers may conduct a study about the coping strategies of adolescents who have experienced early parental death. The researchers should have to provide activities to the adolescents to help them cope up with having early parental death such as seminar from school organizations and the different institutions such as Department of Social Welfare Development (DSWD), Should provide seminar or open forum on the importance of emotion and problem-focused coping strategies for the people to be resilient.
