Thesis (Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Technology and Livelihood Education) -- University of Rizal System-Morong.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The main purpose of this study is to develop and to determine the acceptability level of the bicycle- driven electricity producer as instructional material. The evaluators of the study are composed of two groups; selected ten (10) second year second year CIT students and selected ten (10) CIT professors from the College of Industrial Technology, Morong Rizal. The two groups evaluated the acceptability level of the developed material. The evaluators were requested to give their own perceptions on the developed material by providing them a rubric with guided them in determining the level of acceptability of bicycle driven electricity producer as instructional material in terms of technical parameters; voltage produce with load, voltage produce without load, current under 25mA Range, power produce with load, mean was used. The study employed the developmental descriptive method of research utilizing a rubric in the development and acceptability of bicycle-driven electricity producer as instructional material. Qualitative description, mean, and independent t-test were the statistical tool to treat the problems presented in the study. To determine the level of acceptability of the developed instructional material as perceived by the two groups of evaluators with respect to technical parameters; voltage with load, voltage without load, current under 25mA range, power with load, mean was used. To determine whether there is a significant difference on the perception of two groups of evaluators on the level of acceptability of the instructional material, independent t-test was used. With respect to the different technical parameters, the instructional material was evaluated as "Very Much Accepted" by the CIT Professors and "Very Much Accepted" by the selected CIT students. Based from the findings of the study, there is no significant difference that existed between the evaluations of the two groups of evaluators on the acceptability of the instructional material. Based from the findings and conclusions drawn, the following recommendations are hereby offered: 1. The developed Bicycle- Driven Electricity Producer shall add voltage output regulator. 2. The developed Bicycle-Driven Electricity producer shall include the revolution per minute (RPM) in determining the voltage output. (Loaded or Unloaded). 3. A parallel study shall be conducted using other variables and parameters. 4. The developed Bicycle- Driven Electricity Producer shall be utilized as Instructional Materials/ devices by Physics or electricity Teacher.
