Dissertation note: Thesis BS in Psychology University of Rizal System 2018 Summary: This study dealt on the Self-Concept of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and transgender in Sampaloc, Tanay, Rizal. This was conducted during the first semester school year 2018-2019. There were 48 LGBT respondents who were described in terms of age, sex, educational attainment, sibling position, monthly family income, occupation and religion. Descriptive research design was employed路 in this undertaking. The salient findings of the study were: Most of the respondents, lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender are dominated by 22-above years old. The lesbians are 1.00 percent females and gay are 100 percent males, bisexual are 83.3 percent males and transgender are 100 percent males. Most of the LGBT members finished high school. Most of the Lesbians, Gays and Transgender are first born while the bisexuals are fourth born. All of them got family income ranging from 20,001-25,000. Fifty (50) percent of the lesbians are unemployed, gays are distributed equally to varying occupation, bisexual are dominated by teachers and transgender by hair stylist. Majority of them belong to Roman Catholic. As to self-concept, it was revealed that all of them Much Observed their physical, emotional, interpersonal and psychological self-concept. The hypothesis is accepted in terms of age, sex, educational attainment, sibling position, monthly family income, occupation and religion. In conclusion, based on the results of the study the respondents are mostly adults, males, mostly high school graduates, first born, who are receiving 路family income between 20 .. 001-25,000. Most of the respondents Were employed as teachers and hair stylist and majority are .Roman Catholic. 路The respondents self-concept was interpreted as Much . Observed. Age, sex, educational attainment, monthly family income, occupation and religion were not significant, while sibling position was significant. Based on the findings the researchers encourage the LGBT to attend ALS vocational courses for them to. be encouraged to engage themselves in self-employment. LGBT may be encouraged to be involved in more community activities. Conduct of parallel studies along this area using other variables may be done.
