Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The study aimed to develop Automated Parking Lot System. The study was conducted at the University of Rizal System - Morong Campus during the first semester of 2014-2015. The researchers used respondents. The respondents of the study were the selected 15 experts in and out the University of Rizal System. The study used the descriptive method utilizing the researchers modified questionnaire checklist. The percentile rank was used to determine the level of acceptability of Automated Parking Lot System in the perception of vehicle drivers. Weighted mean was used to determine the acceptability of the system in terms of functionality, usefulness, accuracy and safety and maintenance of the system. It was found that the majority of respondents accepted the device. Based on the data acquired by the researchers, in terms of functionality, usefulness, accuracy and safety and maintenance, it is strongly accepted that was revealed by the respondents. Based on the summary and findings, Automated Parking Lot System will be useful for parking purposes. The study will give some to the vehicle drives because of having trouble when aimlessly circling a parking lot. Automated Parking Lot System eases the parking flow and saves time when parking. For further study, the researchers recommended to improve the light sensor for a reliable use, and to add more features in the system. These project studies will significantly benefit community, University, College of Engineering, future researchers and vehicle drivers.
