The primary objective of the study is to determine the perception of the
respondents on the Recruitment and Selection Process of Startek Company in
Pasig City, Calendar year 2022.
The respondents were the employees of Startek Company in Pasig City.
Descriptive method of research was used. The questionnaire checklist was the
primary instrument for the collection of data. The researchers were able to
determine the perception of the 150 employees.
Various statistical treatment such as frequency, percentage, and rank
distribution were used to determine the profile of the respondents. A weighted mean was employed to determine the respondents' perceptions. Analysis of
variance (ANOVA) was used to determine the significant difference in the
employees perception on the Recruitment and Selection Process of Startek
Company in Pasig City.
The findings concerning the personal profile of the respondents revealed
that the majority of them are between the ages of 20 and 24, mostly female, with
a Civil Status of Single: Most of them attained college level, in the regular status
of employment, and have 1 year and below length of service.
Based on the findings, the Recruitment and Selection Process of Startek
Company in Pasig City, as perceived by the respondents has a verbal
interpretation of "strongly agree" with a grand mean total of. 4.51. The results
revealed that the signaler came in the first rank with a grand mean of 4,55 and a
verbal interpretation of "strongly agree". The signals and receiver ranked next
with the grand mean of 4.49 and a verbal interpretation of "strongly agree".
It was discovered that there is a significant difference in the perception of
employees in Signaler in terms of their status of employment. On the other hand,
in terms of their age, sex, civil status, educational attainment, and length of
experience, respondents' perception was not significant. Moreover, there were no
significant differences in the respondent's perception on Signals and Receiver
when grouped according to profile Age, Sex, Civil Status, Educational
Attainment, Status of Employment, and Length of Experience. Based on the results obtained, the researchers recommend the following:
Startek company should maintain the Recruitment and Selection Process
applied. They may create an evaluation for their recruiters to determine the
differences in how they handle applicants during the recruitment and selection
process since recruiters are removed or modified over time, it is possible that
applicants would see various recruiters differently. Moreover, future researchers
may explore and investigate other variables and increase the number of
respondents so they can obtain a wide range of perceptions and findings.
