EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The study is entitled "parental orientation on the acceptance of homosexuals". Its main objective is to determine the level of parental orientation and acceptance of homosexuals. The study was conducted at selected town of Rizal during year 2014-2015. A total of one hundred respondents, consisting of fifty gay and fifty lesbians were considered as the respondents. The data were treated statistically using the mean and the Pearson r. This study used the quantitative methods utilizing a researchers made questionnaire checklist. The instrument was validated through construct and content validation. It was revealed on the study that with regards to the level of parental orientation, it was found out that homosexuals have a good orientation. Parents have different culture on how they raise their children and most of their parents give them a good orientation which can help homosexuals to be a good person. On the other hand with regards to the parental acceptance it was found that homosexuals have high level of parental acceptance. The parents of homosexuals are being responsible of providing needs and necessities for their children in order to feel accepted. After interpreting the data gathered and giving the major findings the following conclusion were formulated. There is a significant relationship between parental orientation and parental acceptance to homosexuals. Based on the findings, the following recommendations were given; groups must be created for LGBT community which can develop their personality and also attend sensitivity training, personality development, and socialization activities to enhance their socialization skills.
