Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to develop a Multiple Slot Horizontal Milling cutter holder out of affordable materials. The device was a modification of existing cutter known as gear cutter. In conducting this study, the researchers utilized the developmental and descriptive type of research method since this study focused on the design and construction of the development of multiple slot horizontal milling cutter holder. A group of respondents was selected for the evaluation of the project. They were the ten (10) instructors and twenty (20) students of the mechanical and Production Technology course of the University of Rizal System Morong Campus. This study aimed to determine the level of acceptability of the device as perceived by respondents in terms of durability, performance, usefulness, and safety and maintenance. It also determined the significant difference of the evaluation made by the respondents on the Developed of Multiple Slot Horizontal Milling Cutter. Based on the analysis of the gathered data, the following findings are presented. On the design and construction the developed Multiple-slot Horizontal Milling Cutter Holder was design, constructed and developed out of locally available material. On the try-out and revision the developed Multiple-slot Horizontal Milling Cutter Holder was tested for operations wherein different flaws and shortcomings were observed. Through try-out and revisions, the device reached the function output and attained its objectives. On the level of acceptability of Multiple Slot Horizontal Milling Cutter Holder in terms of performance, the developed Multiple-slot Horizontal Milling cutter Holder obtained a general mean of 4.6 for the end-users and 4.58 for the experts. In terms of usefulness, the developed multiple-slot horizontal Milling cutter holder obtained a general mean of 4.7 for the end-users and 4.56 for the experts. In terms of durability, the developed multiple-slot horizontal Milling cutter holder obtained a general mean of 4.66 for the end-users and 4.6 for the experts. In terms of safety and maintenance, the developed Multiple-slot Horizontal Milling Cutter Holder obtained a general mean of 4.71 for the end-users and 4.54 for the experts. The study found out that there was no significant difference on the level of acceptability of the multiple Slot Horizontal Milling Cutter Holder as evaluated by the experts and end-users in terms of performance, usefulness, durability and safety and maintenance. Based on the results of the study, the researchers arrived at the following recommendations. Administrators of Universities or Colleges should encourage their students and instructors to develop and construct instructional machine, gadget and other shop equipment. Assistance must be given to students undergoing similar research or study to defray the high cost of materials needed. The overall design of the device must be improved to increase its performance and efficiency.
