EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The study aimed to develop an Improvised Electric Drill Press. Specifically, this attempted to determine the level of acceptability of an Improvised Electric Drill Press in term of functionality, usefulness, safety and maintenance and durability. This was conducted at the University of Rizal System, Morong Campus during the school year 2014-2015. The researchers adapted a modified questionnaire checklist as the main instrument and were validated to determine the level of acceptability of an Improvised Electric Drill Press. The respondent where purposely selected to give an objective evaluation of the output. They were composed of ten (10) students, the end-users and ten (10) faculty members as the expert. Based on the analysis of the study, the researchers were able to design a well detailed assembly drawing, pictorial drawing, exploded drawing and constructed an Improvised Movable Hydraulic Press Machine out of locally available materials. Based from the result of the study, an Improvised Electric Drill Press found to be "Outstanding" in terms of functionality, usefulness, safety and maintenance, and durability as perceived by the experts and end-users. Based on the summary of findings, the study concluded that, there is no significant difference on the level of acceptability of an improvised electric drill press in terms of functionality, usefulness, safety and maintenance and durability. Thus, the study recommended that, the machine must be full weld for durability. It must be used for industrial purposes for mechanical technology. And, must be painted to avoid corrosion.
