Online resources: Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The primary objective of the study is to construct a Hydro-turbine Generator System Suitable for Downspout that will produce a renewable energy in accordance to the implementation of Republic Act. 9513 of December 16, 2008, "An Act Promoting the Development, Utilization and Commercialization of Renewable Energy Resources and for other purposes" and in Section 2 Declaration of Policies ©: Encourage the development and utilization of renewable energy sources as tools to effectively prevent or reduce harmful emissions and thereby balance the goals of economic growth and development with the protection of health and the environment. With this study we were able to help other people and promote renewable energy to use by the community. It focuses on the emergency usage of the people whenever there is a power shortage if there is a calamity to face with. Based on the analysis of gathered data, the Hydro-Turbine Generator System has obtained a verbal interpretation, Very Much Accepted by the respondents with respect to suitability, workability and acceptability. As a result, the average of this gives 4.7 with the verbal interpretation of Very Much Accepted as perceived by the experts. Moreover, the researchers were able to create a device for producing electrical energy by the use of water as a prime mover of the turbine to rotate that is coupled to the gears. The gears are coupled to the Generator that produce electricity with a constant voltage of 230 at no load and at full load 75 - 100 volts. Based on the researchers' observation during the experiment of Hydro-Turbine Generator system suitable for Downspout, the researchers came up with recommendations to improve the systems' gears to make it as proportional as possible to make the system consistent with the rotation of the gears up to the generator to make the light bulb consistently. Further studies should be undertaken on the design and functionality of the system.
